SERVICE TERMS & CONDITIONS Last updated: [16.06.2026] These are the terms that apply when you book our dog walking or pet care services. By using our service, you agree to these terms. About our service We provide friendly, reliable and safe dog walking across Leicester. All walks are carried out by Nicholas Wright, who is fully insured, DBS checked and trained in dog first aid. Our promise: Loved walks, trusted care — every single time Services offered Solo walks or up to 2 dogs on agreement: 30 or 60 minutes Cat Sitter: Visit twice a day Booking and availability Please book walks in advance where possible. We will confirm your booking and schedule. We reserve the right to refuse service to any dog or owner if we believe safety or wellbeing could be at risk. Cancellations and changes 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or changes. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged 50% of the full price. Cancellations on the day or no‑shows will be charged 100% of the full price. If we cannot carry out a walk due to bad weather or safety risks, we will rearrange or refund you in full. Payments Prices are shown on our website / price list. Payment is due [e.g. weekly / monthly / on booking] by bank transfer or cash Late payments may result in pausing of service and a £10 Fee Your responsibilities (owner) Your dog must be fit, healthy and fully vaccinated (including kennel cough if in contact with other dogs). You must provide a secure collar/harness, ID tag and suitable lead. You must tell us before the first walk about any health issues, allergies, medication, behaviour quirks or fears. Your dog must be neutered if over 6 months and joining group walks (unless agreed otherwise). You are responsible for any damage or injury your dog may cause to others or property. Our responsibilities We will treat your dog with love, care and respect — like our own. We will keep your dog safe, follow the agreed route, and clear up all waste. We will send you a quick update or photo after the walk, so you know they are happy. We are fully insured: Public Liability cover £5 million+ (proof available on request). We are DBS checked and trained in dog first aid. Off‑lead walks We only let dogs off the lead with your written permission and only in safe, secure areas. We will only let your dog off‑lead if they have good recall and are safe around others. Safety and emergencies In an emergency, we will take the best action for your dog’s safety — this may include contacting your vet, taking them to a local practice, or contacting you immediately. Any costs for emergency vet treatment are your responsibility. Liability We take every possible care, but we are not liable for illness, injury or loss caused by factors outside our control (e.g. existing health conditions, natural behaviour, road accidents, weather). Our liability is limited to the cover provided by our insurance policy. Termination Either of us can end the service at any time, with [e.g. 48 hours] notice. If you break these terms, we can end service immediately.
